Thanks for visiting OhioHelmetProject.com! This site was inspired by The Helmet Project, which has a nearly exhaustive collection of professional and collegiate helmet images. For the first few years, I started out constructing the helmets by piecing together basic helmet image components from that site. In 2004, I started creating my own helmet images, which will look slightly different (hopefully better!) from the ones gleaned from The Helmet Project.

The success of this site is based squarely on the shoulders of contributors and I try to acknowledge those who take the time to help me out. Please email me at with feedback and pictures of whatever Ohio high school helmets and logos you have.

Prior to sending your helpful information, please read the submission guidelines and also check to make sure the helmet you have information regarding has not already been completed.
